What's Epoxy Coating? 
Flat acrylic looks... flat. Epoxy, on the other hand, adds a glossy, dome like surface that catches and refracts light, creating the illusion of depth, almost like there’s liquid candy sealed inside. It also helps keep the keychain lasting as long as possible, its less susceptible to scratches and cracking (if any), and keeps the art inside 110% all the time.
That shine makes colors appear richer, more dimensional, and more “edible.”
Like seriously it makes me want to eat the candy. 
It also feels really nice, so if you're a bit of a texture girl like me, it's delightful to stroke and touch and hold up to your face as you mutter "my precccciioooouusss"
